Keeping the Sunny Side Up: Spins and Unusual Attitudes
Speakers: Judy Phelps, Rochelle Oslick
Loss of Control and stalls remain the most common causes of small airplane accidents, accounting for about half of all accidents, and most of these are fatal. Come learn what gets pilots into trouble and what you can do to help avoid this fate.
Our presenters are: Judy Phelps, the 2011 National Flight Instructor Of The Year and a 7-time Master CFI-Aerobatics. She is a founding member of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators. She specializes in Upset Recovery Training, as well as Aerobatics, Spins, and Tailwheel instruction, and is the Chief Flight Instructor at CP Aviation at Santa Paula, CA (KSZP). She will be joined by Rochelle Oslick, also a Master CFI-Aerobatics and a retired Boeing aerospace engineer, who shares the same instructor specialties.
