Max Trescott will be discussing the seven types of minimums found on RNAV (GPS) approach charts and the many differences between them. It’s important to understand the differences, as some of them are flown differently and the use of the autopilot is different for some minimums.

Speaker Bio Max Trescott is the 2008 National CFI of the Year, selected to represent all 96,000 flight instructors in the U.S. He’s written two books, including Max Trescott’s G1000 & Perspective Glass Cockpit Handbook and has a new one coming out on the G3000. He also has online courses for the G1000 at PilotLearning.com. He lives in the S.F. Bay Area and is a Cirrus Platinum CSIP instructor. He teaches fulltime in Cirrus Aircraft, including the Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet. He’s been a cohost for six years on the Airplane Geeks podcast, and for the past three years he’s hosted his own podcast focused on General Aviation called the Aviation News Talk podcast.
