Speaker - Captain Daniel Balderston
This talk will provide a brief history and overview of Civil Air Patrol. Dan Balderston and fellow CAP members will describe recent missions in California along with the impetus and efforts to train members to be prepared for in-flight emergencies. There will be opportunities for FAPA members to ask questions and discuss topics of interest with our local Civil Air Patrol with the commander of our Fullerton Senior Squadron 40, Commercial Pilot, Captain Dan Balderston. He is an active Mission Pilot for CAP, a USA drone pilot and instructor. He is currently instructing in proficiency and transition training for CAP pilot in TAA transition and emergency procedures along with search and rescue flight clinics. Dan owns and flys a 1966 Alon A2Aircoupe and looks forward to seeing fellow pilots at this function.
