Long Distance Cross Country Flight Planning, Destination: Oshkosh!

We will discuss methods to plan a long cross country flight that will take a couple days to accomplish. More than just planning several small flights, long distance flying requires taking much more information into consideration. Using a flight from Fullerton to Oshkosh, WI to attend EAA Airventure, we'll talk about some of these issues and how to prepare. Though the plan includes Oshkosh as the destination, techniques discussed here apply to any cross country trip of a longer duration.

We'll also hear from a few other local pilots who are also planning to attend Airventure this year, and how they intend to contend with these issues.
