Large-size drone aircraft are used around the world for a variety of purposes, flown both by pilots based "in theater", and sometimes by pilots based here in the States. With a long and varied career in aviation, Rich Martindell spent several years operating these aircraft and will discuss what it takes to become a drone pilot, and some of his experiences in this arena.
Lt Col Richard Martindell is a US Air Force Veteran, having flown the F-4 and F-15 at bases around the world. He worked for several years for King Schools in San Diego, and was the FAA Safety Team Representative Of the Year in 2016.
